The Clear blue sky was in the background on the new day.  Mishka is the first travel cat I painted as a series of traveling cats.

 

I wanted to see Mishka in a mohair vivid yellow sweater. I will never forget the indescribable feeling I had while adding thick watercolor paint of this color. I think I was tasting the feelings of elation through the color of yellow.

 

The warmth underneath Mishka’s long furry fur, I felt their pure passion. Simplicity on the air. It was an uplifting starting point with this fellow.
