Mari is a Seattle-based multidisciplinary artist from Chiba-Prefecture, Japan. She moved to Washington state in the Spring of 2009, and ever since, the Pacific Northwest has been her second home.
She is the author of Travel Cats' book Fur Coats & Backpacks, plays guitar, and sings for the band Bow & Yarrow. Her stop-motion animated short film Sanpomichi is in production.
